The first step of getting a same-day crown is to scan your teeth and oral cavity. We use an intra-oral camera to create a 3D image of the area where the crown will be applied. Once we have the 3D image, we’ll proceed to use a machine to create your crown.

Same-day crowns are made of ceramic, and the option of having them made of metal or porcelain, like traditional crowns, isn’t available. It depends on the machine used to create the crown in-office. After the crown is created, it’ll be permanently applied to the damaged tooth, and you can go home without delay.
